Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly situated near the river, making it convenient for exploring, but some noise from the nearby road can be intrusive. The room came with the expected smaller size but included a lovely bathtub for relaxation. The service was exceptional, especially in arranging special requests, and the food, particularly the dessert, was a favorite. The dining experience fell short with a limited breakfast selection. Despite some minor drawbacks, the overall experience was memorable.
The hotel rooms were tastefully decorated with a high-quality finish and made great use of space even in the 'cosy' rooms, although they were a bit stuffy at times. The location was obviously fantastic, right on the River Thames within easy walking distance of the town and Richmond Park, but the noise from the road outside and the bar downstairs was quite disruptive. The service was professional, friendly, and accommodating, trying to go 'paperless,' and the dining experience was rated the best in a while, though the breakfast could have been improved by extending the hours or offering a better variety. Overall, the hotel was absolutely perfect for us, but the dining and noise levels were areas for improvement.
The hotel offers a blend of modern convenience in a historic building, with nice and characterful rooms. Although the lack of a ceiling lamp made the room quite dark, the overall experience was pleasant and cozy. The service goes the extra mile, beautifully situated by the river. The location, while beautiful with panoramic views, could use some detailed improvements to reach its full potential. Dining options, although overlooking the Zen garden and Thames, could be more diverse and better value for money.
My stay at The Bingham was delightful. The rooms were beautifully appointed with a great view of the Thames, offering a nice and characterful ambiance. The service was top-notch, making me feel like I was in a premier inn, particularly thanks to Rashid and Kenneth for their warm hospitality. The location, while not perfect due to the slight disturbances from the nearby road, still exuded a bespoke quality and vintage charm unique to London. However, the dining experience fell short with limited options and overpriced items, marking the biggest disappointment. Overall, a charming stay with a few drawbacks.
